Bodies, pyjamas, rompers, covers, and much more! A baby's wardrobe at birth is always full of adorable pieces that unfortunately often end up unused.
Children, and in particular newborns, wear their clothes for a short time, sometimes in certain sizes only for months or even weeks.
But what happens to these clothes? Some are kept, some are given as gifts to friends and relatives and some, unfortunately, end up in landfills.
Therefore, CORA presents a revolutionary circular economy project, the first and only one in the world dedicated to families: CORAcircle.
The service, that will be launched in October, is based on the idea of helping families to organize themselves in the best possible way for their baby's needs with a pre-packaged selection of necessary clothing (for boys, girls, or neutrals). Thus, giving the possibility to enjoy eco-friendly clothing at an affordable price, contributing to the preservation of the planet.
The concept is simple and allows you to rent clothes, all ethically produced and made of environmentally friendly materials, for babies from birth to two years old.
CORA offers a selection of rentable clothes which, once used, are reconditioned, and sanitized before being put back into the system.
Each package contains an optimal selection of items so that parents can get exactly what their little one needs. The selection of items is made entirely of high-quality, hypoallergenic fabrics such as bamboo, eucalyptus fiber, and organic cotton.
These are raw materials are extremely durable and do not irritate the sensitive skin of babies.
When the baby needs an extra size or a change of season, a new pack is sent and the previous one returned.
The advantages of this choice are numerous: you can save both time and the planet. But let's see them together in more detail!
SAVING SPACE AND TIME
First and foremost, parents save time by not having to worry about choosing the clothes they need for their baby's wardrobe when he or she arrives. This might be extremely helpful especially for first time parents.
By taking care of the various wardrobe changes involved in the first years of each child's life, parents do not have to worry about where to collect the clothes they no longer use or about selling them or giving them to the right person.
SAVING THE PLANET
This service aims to reduce the number of new items that need to be produced, helping to reduce the number of textiles that end up in landfills - a way to reduce the polluting impact of the fashion industry.
COST SAVINGS.
The monthly subscription saves up to 70% of the purchase value of new eco-friendly premium products.
