PRINTS AND EMBROIDERY

On the finished product we apply printing or embroidery. Embroidery has no major impacts on the planet. Printing on the other hand can have quite big disadvantages for the planet. Also for the skin some prints are not quite healthy as some prints contain lots of chemical additives. Our prints are made with colours on waterbase where the chemical additives giving consistency and form to the print are substituted with water. The result is a print which has a softer touch. It is equally resistant to washings and can even be ironed without turning the garment inside out (please read washing instructions). Water based colours are typically made of two components: the water base and the colour pigments added to the base which make the colours. This type of colours are suitable for textiles like the ones we from CORA happywear use in our products as they are without plastic and PVC materials.
