The ultimate perfect suitcase does not exist. There is the ideal suitcase for you, your family and your vacation.
Sea or mountain? Getaway of a few days or a long trip? By what means?
So many questions, so many different needs, so many customized luggage!
That's why the perfect suitcase for everyone doesn't exist but, at the same time, there are useful tips for everyone and every kind of vacation.
Here all our tips!
1. TAKE ONLY THE ESSENTIALS, IN THE IDEAL SUITCASE THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE EXCESS!
How many times do you come home with unused items in your suitcase? Leave the "you never know" at home. Mentally visualize your vacation, take a pen, a paper and write down what you might need. Put only that in your suitcase, even something less!
2. REMEMBER TO BRING A BAG FOR YOUR DIRTY LAUNDRY
If it's airtight, no odors will escape. Banning plastic bags and biodegradable ones. Yes to bags that from trip to trip (even passing through the washing machine) will always perform that function. A perfect suitcase has its bags.
3. BRING UNDERWEAR AND CLOTHING FOR 6/7 DAYS
But only in the case of multi-week vacations/travels. A laundromat will return you the clothes scented, soft, and less creased than if they were in your suitcase for weeks.
4. NO TO THE BURSTING SUITCASE!
Pack light and you'll have room for what you buy on the go. The perfect suitcase never bursts!
5. USE TRAVEL ORGANIZERS FOR YOUR SUITCASE
Pack/roll your various garments, they will take up less space and you can take advantage of every corner of your suitcase. Also, if you organize the clothes well in the organizers, you can take them out of the suitcase and put them directly in the drawers without moving the clothes.
6. PREPARE A SMART BEAUTY-CASE
Prefer packages of shampoo, shower gel, and creams in small format, preferably refillable. You could also choose these products in their solid version: they will weigh less and take up less space.
7. IF YOU TRAVEL BY PLANE...
Remember that the electronic equipment stored in your hand luggage must pass on the roller, so avoid putting it on the bottom or hidden between clothes.
8. MIX AND MATCH
Bring clothes that are interchangeable and look good with each other so that if you get something dirty, you know what to replace it with!
9. BRING COORDINATED LOOKS
A little trick to make your shots even more beautiful: when you're packing for the family, think of a coordinated look for your holiday shots!
10. A PERFECT SUITCASE NEVER LACKS A GOOD BOOK FOR EVERYONE
And finally, don't forget a good book for everyone. A book will never be an unnecessary burden.
