Vienna, January 2019. Round trip in two days. And in between, an evening in the Skylounge of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber. The "Global Responsibility" working group invited to a conference and round table discussion on innovative business models for a sustainable future, in particular the discussion of the "SDGs". (Sustainable development Goals) of the United Nations Agenda 2030. The whole thing was laborious but a bit complicated. Sovereign was the opening speech by former Austrian Federal President Heinz Fischer in his role as co-chairman of the Ban-Ki-Moon Center for Global Citizens. The CEO of CORA, Elisabeth Tocca, was also invited. She spoke about her personal experiences in setting up a start-up in South Tyrol in a sector - sustainable fashion - that is only slowly gaining ground. A good initiative, but it turns out that the theme needs to be communicated in a contemporary way: to really get in touch, liveliness, lifestyle, sensuality and the joy of working for the changes in this world.
