All CORA happywear garments are manufactured in the Mediterranean area: Italy, Austria, Greece and Turkey. This guarantees a lower environmental impact in terms of transport and respect for the working conditions of the workforce.

CORA Happywear uses only materials that have a minimum impact on the surrounding environment and has chosen to work only with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified dyeworks, which comply with the sustainability standards of the certifying body, using natural non-irritating and hypoallergenic substances.
Cora Happywear has chosen not to use synthetic raw materials or traditional cotton because they are not considered adequately sustainable.
Even the transport of the finished garments to the end consumer has an impact on the environment directly proportional to the distance between the factory and the end customer. All our garments are produced in the Mediterranean area (Italy, Greece, Turkey) and we exclude production in faraway countries such as Asia, in order to minimise the kilometres that the final garment has to travel to reach the consumer.
Finally, Cora only works with producers who have certified that working conditions are controlled and fully fair for all employees in the supply chain.

Principally, not producing new things is the most sustainable approach. However, if we choose among our fibers. ""Eucalyptus - tencel fibre is the raw material that Cora loves the most because the fibre is obtained through totally ecological and sustainable processing.
The process of extracting the fiber from wood and transforming it into yarns is completely ecological as it is a closed cycle process.
In addition, the eucalyptus plant grows on land that is unfavorable to agriculture and does not take away areas useful for food cultivation and does not require the use of pesticides, herbicides, insecticides or fertilizers.
The water requirement for growth is minimal, in fact, rainwater alone is sufficient.
